TWO-WAY CALLING AND VOICE MESSAGING

Use the Garmin Jr. app to call your child’s Bounce¹ plus send and receive voice messages. In response, you can also receive voice messages with transcriptions.

TEXT MESSAGING

With an active subscription, you can use the Garmin Jr. app to send text messages to your child’s Bounce 2 smartwatch. Kids can create their own messages and respond with a full on-device keyboard, including emojis or sound emojis, to parent-approved contacts and in family group messages.

TRACK SPORTS, SLEEP AND MORE

Built-in sports apps use GPS to let your child track running, walking and biking activities. They can also record laps while swimming or can log other activities. Plus, track their daily steps, and check that they’re getting enough rest with sleep tracking⁴.

Kids can use voice commands to call a parent, start a timer, check the weather and more.

Kid-friendly weather updates with basic forecast and “feels-like” temperature¹ help guide kids to wear weather-appropriate attire. This also includes extreme weather alerts such as high heat warnings.

NO DISRUPTIONS

Use the Garmin Jr. smartphone app to turn on school mode or do-not-disturb during sleep, which includes silent and silent restricted modes, to keep your child’s smartwatch from distracting them during school hours or at night.

STOPWATCH AND ALARMS

Your kid can use a stopwatch on their wrist or set alarms and timers to help remind them when it’s time to do homework or when piano practice time is up.

PLAY FUN GAMES

Your child’s Bounce 2 smartwatch also has fun games to play during parent-approved times. They’ll get a kick out of the Copycat and math flash games.

Enable Kid Mode in the Garmin Jr. app to give your kid limited access to monitor and check off their own chores and to view the latest mission in their app adventure.

Parents can view activity, responsibilities, sleep, chore data and more in the Garmin Jr. app.

CHORES AND REWARDS

Assign chores and choose a reward virtual coin value. Kids can check off chores on their Bounce 2. And the in-app coins they earn can be redeemed for rewards.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

When you assign chores and schedule alerts, your kid’s smartwatch will let them know with an icon that shows what needs to be done.
