Watch Battery Change & Pressure TestComplexHighly Tuned Athletes has its own watch repair facility located at its Hampton showroom. Our technicians can perform a variety of services, including battery changes and pressure testing (up to 10 ATM (100 metre) rating). Removing the battery cover compromises the water resistant seal of the watch, making it susceptible to water/moisture ingestion. In Layman's terms, a watch that has been compromised could ingest moisture under the face (or worse, stop functioning) without directly being exposed/submersed in water. By pressure testing the watch after fitting a new battery, it is confirmation that the seal is intact and that the watch is water resistant as per the manufacturer's original specifications. Our state-of-the-art test equipment includes a Swiss made, fully automated electronic dry testing machine, offering full data logging and graphical analysis/comparison testing. It also performs vacuum testing for condensation seepage tests due to varying climatic changes. For Luminox and Wenger watches, please contact Lion Brands on (03) 9572 9820.
